Every man Jack and Janet here share a passion for great tasting food. In the early days we knew that quality, taste, texture and enjoyment could be improved. We set about it by developing precious recipes, sourcing the finest ingredients and helping our kitchen team with technology and technique.

If 'traditional' wasn't good enough, we had to challenge convention, put a twist on the classics, play with the 'mere ordinary' to create 'extraordinary'.

The Breakfast Collection

Our Bloody Mary Ketchup is an inspiration, with Vodka, Worcestershire sauce and a special blend of Bloody Mary spices.

The star of our show and the reason that Stokes even exists is our thick and juicy Tomato Ketchup.You can smell the grownup difference the moment you twist the lid off Stokes Brown Sauce.

Stokes Extra Strawberry Jam is a rich and fruity soft set jam, crammed with delicious strawberries. Toast with Stokes Seville Orange Marmalade - now that's a great breakfast.

Our Roast 'Dinner' Collection

Our Mint Sauce is a delightful twist on the classic. Spoon it into your gravy to let the acid cut the fat and the garden mint lift the lamb. Stokes deliciously smooth Creamed Horseradish Sauce lets you enjoy its full flavour without bringing tears to your eyes.

Everyone enjoys this rich, dark, smooth Redcurrant Jelly, oozing with flavour from the very high fruit content. Our Bramley Apple Sauce is packed with Bramley apples and a good dash of British dry cider for a simple, minty twist.

Our Classic English Mustard is strong and smooth in texture and hot  but without the 'burn'. It complements your meat rather than competes with it.

The Chinese New Year 5 Collection

This had been created (along with these recipes (here)) to celebrate the Chinese New Year. 

Made with red chillies and red peppers our Sweet Chilli Sauce overflows with the vitality of the Orient. Stokes Hoisin Sauce is rich and sweet including Yellowbean sauce, soy sauce and little red chilli - it's nothing short of 'wow'. 

Turn our Award-Winning Tomato Ketchup into an amazing Chinese marinade by adding Chinese 5 Spice. Even though it is a very grownup Brown Sauce - why? - we hear you ask. Add Chinese 5 Spice and a dash of Chilli Ketchup to it and you'll see.
