Stokes 'saucy' competition
Last week we told to about our lucky first prize winner, Carrie Booth, who is off to the sunny island of Crete having won Stokes Real Mayonnaise competition. She'll soon discover the source of the extra virgin olive oil that makes our mayonnaise so special.
Carrie said "As a loyal customer of Stokes sauces for years, it was such a wonderful surprise to win".
It is the Koroneiki olive trees of Crete whose small but abundant olives create an intense, rich green oil with a uniquely exquisite flavour. We blend this with British rapeseed oil for the velvety finish in Stokes Real Mayonnaise.

The two lucky finalists were: Hannah Jackson and John Matthews - well done to you and thank you for entering the competition.
And the runners up were: Michael Coates, Joe Amos, June Shankland, Sarah Welsh, Karin Read, Richard Waine, Sheila Bailey and Hugo McRae.
